About Our Founder, Mark Swaine.
From Product Delivery to Product Education
Hi — I’m Mark Swaine, founder of UX Institute. I’ve spent 20+ years helping companies bring better digital products to life. I’ve worked as a UX and product leader across startups, corporates and SaaS scale-ups, solving real-world challenges – from launching MVPs to rebuilding complex legacy systems.
UX Institute was born from a need I kept seeing again and again. Smart people in product roles were stuck. They needed clarity, structure and a way to grow without stopping the work. So I built programmes that teach what actually works – not theory, not fluff, just skills people can use right away.
Everything we offer is based on real product work. I still mentor teams, lead training and shape every part of the curriculum. And I’m proud that UXI has helped hundreds of people build better products, faster.
